  • Explore the science of sports, athletic training and performance with Bucky Badger, UW–Madison scientists and student athlete scholars
  • From football to soccer, rowing to basketball, discover how engineering, physiology, medicine, physics, nutrition and biology are hard at work while we play

Event partners include the Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC), the Office of Student-Athlete Development (OSAD), UW–Madison’s Beyond the Game Program (BTG), Wisconsin’s Equity & Inclusion Laboratory (Wei LAB) and more.

About Saturday Science at Discovery

Saturday Science at Discovery is a monthly series that features interactive exploration stations centered around a particular topic. Families and learners of all ages are invited to explore hands-on science fun during this free drop-in event, which generally is held from 10 a.m. until noon on the first Saturday of each month in the Town Center of the Discovery Building.
