South Atrium Water Feature
Call for Proposals
Artists on campus and across the Midwest are invited to
submit an application for the commission of artworks to be installed in four water
features located in the Town Center of the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery. One artist will be selected to create
four different artworks—one for each of the water features. The Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery
building is currently under construction at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
All artists from the Arts Midwest region are eligible to
apply. This region includes the
states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and
Wisconsin.

To Submit an Application to the Selection Committee:
Artists should include a portfolio of past work on a CD, including public art commissions if applicable, along with a letter of intent, a current resume, and three references. Do not send a site-specific proposal in the initial application.

before November 1, 2009.
