Although it is possible to learn about science from a textbook or website, we believe the best learning opportunities involve hands-on activities and experiences.

Morgridge Outreach Experiences offers a wide variety of programs including workshops, camps and other enrichment opportunities for youth and adults eager to learn more about the dynamic and innovative science underway at the Morgridge Institute for Research. Morgridge Outreach Experiences offers carefully designed and consistently engaging opportunities for learning.

Our programs include:

  • Workshops, for high school students, that focus on human pluripotent stem cells. Sessions run from two to two-and-a-half hours and include options for large and small groups.
  • Camps, designed to reach high school and middle school students who may otherwise not have the chance to partake in our programs.
  • A short course for participants to learn about stem cells and their potential.
