Several spaces within the Discovery Building may be reserved for special events and educational programs. Please review the Town Center capacity chart for more detail.
 

Conference and Event Spaces | Floor 1

The Town Center main floor can accommodate large expositions, receptions and cultural events. The H.F. DeLuca Forum, where walls retract upward and space expands or contracts as needed for events, can be reserved by itself or with the atrium. The forum can accommodate up to 300 attendees, and when reserved along with the atrium, can accommodate more than 1,000.

Teaching Labs | Floors 2-4

The teaching labs on floors two, three and four offer space for specialized instruction in biology, computation and the physical sciences. The labs may be used for student enrichment programs, teacher training, technology demonstrations and special topics workshops.

The main floor offers distinct spaces to meet different needs: With 40,000 square feet available, the main floor of the Discovery Building can accommodate more than 1,200 guests. Known as the Town Center, the space may be divided to welcome groups of various sizes. View the Application Form.
