Purpose of the Teaching Labs
Unique in their purpose, design and potential, the teaching labs are designed to bring students, scientists and the community together, separately or in groups, allowing them to work side by side and inspiring them to get their hands wet as they do “real” science. The teaching labs are intended to make contemporary science approachable, accessible and exciting to a wide range of audiences. They are available to diverse groups for activities including pre-college programs, adult learning, professional development, technology demonstrations, workshops and more.
