The
MATHBIO4: SCALE symposium, scheduled October 18-19 at the Wisconsin
Institutes for Discovery, is seeking posters describing aspects of scale
in scientific research. Posters (1 meter X 1 meter) could address, but
are not limited to:

MATHBIO4: SCALE, organized by the Morgridge Institute for Research, Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, Town Center and UW–Madison Graduate School, is the fourth symposium in a series that explores the interface of mathematics and life sciences.
- The organization and manipulation of large, complex research data sets;
- How systems can be characterized at different scales of structure and hierarchical organization;
- Scaling up medical research data to healthcare applications; or
- Factors of scale from the microscopic to the ecosystem level.
How to Apply
- Title of the poster presentation
- Abstract of your poster (750 words or less)
- Contact information (name of presenter, title, affiliation, email, phone)
- Whether you will require a table for a laptop/computer display (please indicate this need)
